Catechesis at St John’s
From those who are lifelong Catholics hoping to renew and deepen their understanding of the Catholic Faith, to those exploring Catholicism for the first time, and those who are seeking to come into full communion with the Catholic Church, there are plenty of opportunities to do so at St John’s.
Catechesis is conducted both on an individual one-on-one basis, as well as in small groups, and is based on the Evangelium course and the Catechism of the Catholic Church (see right).
If you are interested in exploring the Catholic Faith and would like to begin a process of exploration and catechesis, or even the opportunity to ask questions in an informal and confidential way, please contact Father Kenyon in the first instance.
Evangelium is a valuable course for those interested in exploring the Catholic faith. 25 sessions follow the four-fold division of the Catechism of the Catholic Church (Creed, Sacraments, Morals and Prayers). If you are interested in the Catholic Faith, and are discerning a call to full communion, please sign up! Evangelium is the normal catechetical route for those coming into the Catholic Church, within the Ordinariate, from an Anglican or Protestant background. We have been pleased to run Evangelium at St John’s since 2010.
For more information on Evangelium, please visit the website here.
